MUFG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate to join their dynamic team in Hong Kong. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of Global ALM management, develop profitable funding strategies, and maintain strong relationships with customers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting the team and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. + Opportunity to contribute to Global ALM management enhancement + Develop branch-wide profitable funding strategies + Ensure compliance with relevant regulations **What you'll do:** As an Associate, your role will be multifaceted. You will suggest holistic strategies, analyse balance sheet profitability, support overseas branches, and make suggestions on efficient funding strategies. Your ability to cooperate with Global Treasury offices will be crucial in enhancing Global ALM management. You will also develop profitable funding strategies, maintain good relationships with various departments, support your team, and observe internal/external limits and guidelines. + Execute interbank money market (MM) transactions, with bond market experience being advantageous. + Secure sufficient funding liquidity for HKD, CNH, and G10 currencies while managing the balance sheet in compliance with internal and external rules and regulations. + Handle client MM inquiries using the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework. + Manage the bank's interest rate and tenor exposure effectively. + Quote fair inter-segment rates accurately. + Develop branch-wide profitable funding strategies to achieve financial profit targets. + Oversee the Hibor submission process and ensure compliance with guidelines and rules. + Suggest holistic strategies and analyze balance sheet profitability and stability. + Support overseas branches and customer business. + Make suggestions on efficient funding and securities-related operations strategies. + Cooperate with Global Treasury offices to enhance Global ALM management. + Maintain good relationships and gather information from relevant departments. + Support the team and handle tasks supervised by the Head of Department (HOD) and Department Head (DH). + Observe internal/external limits and guidelines such as LMR/CFR and Position Limits. + Collaborate with management and other business lines to promote local business initiatives. + Handle special assignments as required. + Ensure compliance with MUFG Bank, Ltd., Hong Kong, and local regulations. **What you bring:** The ideal candidate for the Associate position brings a wealth of experience in strategic thinking, analysing balance sheet profitability, supporting overseas branches, and developing efficient funding strategies.
