Job Summary
As a Barista at West Town Bakery, you’ll be the face of our coffee program. You'll craft delicious espresso drinks, serve up fresh pastries, and connect with guests to provide a warm, welcoming experience. We’re looking for someone with a passion for coffee, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to create a memorable experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso drinks to standard recipes.
Maintain product knowledge to answer questions and make recommendations.
Provide friendly, personalized service and build relationships with regulars.
Assist with inventory management, stocking, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Uphold health and safety standards in food preparation and service.
Support the team with opening, closing, and shift change duties.
Qualifications:
Previous barista or customer service experience preferred but not required — we’re willing to train the right person!
Passion for coffee, baked goods, and hospitality.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
