What You'll Do: Keep Our Streets Safe Assist with road, sidewalk, and facility maintenance, including snow removal and repairs. Maintain & Repair Equipment Make minor adjustments, replace worn parts, and keep tools in top shape. Track & Report Work Maintain records, complete forms, and submit reports as needed. Care for City Greenery Prune, fertilize, and treat trees and shrubs while safely removing damaged branches. Or go to MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING One (1) year of experience in performing semi-skilled building or mechanical, construction, or grounds maintenance tasks. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING Concrete finishing experience preferred. A Class A or B CDL license is preferred. High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred. MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS Be at least 18 years of age. A passing grade on the written portion of the Class A or B CDL exam is required before employment. Pass the driving portion of the Class A or B CDL exam with tanker endorsement within 12months of being hired into position. Have a valid Driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position. Be willing to work snow routes that include 12-hour shifts during the months of November throughMarch. Be able to pass a background investigation, drug and alcohol screenings, and a physical agility screening. WORK HOURS: Monday throughFriday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Some after hours will be required.
