Job Description

General Summary Of Position

We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineerto join our growing AI/ML team. In this entry-level role, you will be instrumental in developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models and intelligent agents on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You'll have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies, to build robust, scalable, and impactful AI solutions that drive our business forward.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of predictive machine learning models to address various business challenges.
  • Build and maintain robust data and ML pipelines using GCP services (e.g., Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Vertex AI Pipelines) for data ingestion, transformation, and model training.
  • Work with large datasets stored in GCP (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage) to prepare data for model development.
  • Contribute to the integration and fine-tuning of generative AI models, including Google Gemini, to develop intelligent agents and enhance existing applications.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot deployed ML models and pipelines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Document code, pipelines, and models for maintainability and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, AI, and GCP technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Foundational understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering), and model evaluation.
  • Proficiency in Python programming, including relevant ML/data libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure), preferably GCP.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
