Description Job Overview: Robert Half is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dispatcher with experience in HVAC or plumbing services to support the operations of our client based in Walnut, CA. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering career growth with a well-established company in the skilled trades industry. Key Responsibilities: + Schedule and dispatch technicians to customer sites for service, maintenance, or installation calls. + Manage incoming service requests via phone, email, and CRM systems. + Prioritize work orders based on urgency, location, and technician availability. + Monitor and communicate job status updates between technicians and customers. + Ensure accurate documentation of service calls, parts used, and job completion notes. + Maintain daily service logs and update customer records. + Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up on service issues or delays. + Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing teams regarding parts availability. + Support the operations team with administrative duties as needed. Requirements Qualifications: + 2+ years of dispatching experience, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, or related trades. + Strong knowledge of service call scheduling and field technician coordination. + Proficient with scheduling or field service management software (e.g., ServiceTitan, FieldEdge, etc.). + Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. + High attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure. + Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
