Part-Time Nanny/Family Assistant – Westport, CT
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Children: Boy (10) and Girl (6)
A warm and welcoming Westport family is seeking a responsible, engaging, and proactive Part-Time Nanny/Family Assistant to care for their two school-aged children and support the household in the afternoons.
The 10-year-old boy is fun-loving, kind, and has a deep passion for sports—especially hockey. He enjoys watching game highlights, reenacting plays, and talking or writing about sports. He is incredibly sweet and gentle. He is on the autism spectrum, which means he may need occasional guidance in social situations, but he’s independent and thoughtful.
The 6-year-old girl is sweet, spunky, and full of personality. She enjoys gymnastics, Monopoly, and spending time with her friends and family. She’s easy-going with a healthy dose of sass and adventure.
The siblings are very close and enjoy playing together—they’re truly best friends!
Engaging the children in after-school activities, play, and homework help
Light housekeeping
Children’s laundry
Driving to and from activities
Grocery shopping and basic household errands
Following and supporting the children’s unique personalities and needs
Candidate will use their own car for driving; mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS rate
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Reliable, caring, and energetic
Experience working with school-aged children and neurodiverse children is a plus.
Comfortable driving and running household errands
Respectful of family preferences and routines
