JOB SUMMARY:

This is an OPS position working in the Department of Revenue's Information Services Program with the Production Control unit in Tallahassee, FL. This position monitors the nightly and weekend critical batch job runs for Child Support through ISP's automatic job scheduler software (OpCon). The monitoring activities include but are not limited to addressing batch job failures, user requests, quality assurance of printed forms, scanning, and tracking of forms

 

This position will provide on-call support and is designated as "mission essential" pursuant to the Department of Revenue's Continuity of Operations Plan.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

  • 1 year of data processing or similar work (data handling, management, analysis) OR batch job operations experience.
  • 2 year of customer service.

PREFERENCES:

  • Experience working alternate hours.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • Position is located in Tallahassee @ Huntley Park (5040 W. Tharpe St.) and is not eligible for Telework.
  • This position provides Batch Monitoring for 2nd shift (4:00 PM - 12:00 AM), Tuesday - Saturday.
  • This position requires occasional coverage for alternate shifts.
  • This position requires some heavy lifting (up to 35 lbs), with or without accommodation.

SALARY: $16.75 hourly
