We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to assist with the day-to-day operations of our Payroll Department. This role will focus on ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all payroll functions, while supporting key stakeholders including our Senior Payroll Specialist and HR teams. Key Responsibilities: Organize, audit, and transmit bi-weekly payroll Review employee time cards and address payroll-related inquiries Process employee reimbursements, union dues, and union pension reports Ensure adherence to payroll laws, confidentiality, and union requirements Maintain accurate payroll schedules and data tracking Assist in Paycom system setup and improvements Support training and compliance efforts for payroll staff Collaborate with Operations and HR across affiliate sites Develop custom payroll and compliance reports Review cross-departmental data impacts and reconciliation Maintain an in-office presence as required Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred 2+ years of experience in various payroll operations Advanced knowledge of Paycom, including associated modules (strongly preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables Familiarity with payroll laws, confidentiality, and compliance Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
