Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with business goals
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers
• Manage relationships with existing suppliers to ensure quality and reliability
• Lead contract negotiations and supplier agreements
• Drive cost savings initiatives and identify process improvement opportunities
• Oversee and lead the purchasing department

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 8 years of purchasing experience in an automotive manufacturingenvironment
• Proven track record of sourcing and managing supplier/vendor relationships
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• Bilingual skills in Japanese are a strong plus
