Requirements:

Responsibilities:
• Provide care needed as per the student’s health care plan. Medical cases may vary and include: catheterization, diabetes, tracheostomy and ventilator dependent, pulse oximeter monitoring, seizure disorder, and Gtube feeding.
• Medication administration and management • Observation for adverse reactions, response or lack of response to medication • Collaboration with the student’s primary physician regarding all medical/mental health related services • Obtaining medical orders and providing copies for the school health record. • Maintaining appropriate documentation for each assigned student. • Keeping the school nurse/principal apprised of student’s needs and status.
