Sous Chef – Daisies | Chicago, IL
Daisies, a celebrated Midwestern pasta-focused restaurant in Logan Square, is seeking a Sous Chef to join our leadership team. This is a key role for someone who is experienced, self-motivated, and ready to grow alongside our CDC and chef team.
About Daisies:
Daisies, is a midwest, vegetable-focused, Italian inspired restaurant, nestled in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood. We believe we are a place where creativity meets tradition; our ever-changing menu (i.e. seasonal, changing sometimes daily in the summers) is crafted around Midwest-grown vegetable and handcrafted pastas.
Daisies has been awarded a Michelin Green Star for sustainability (2023), a Michelin Bib Gourmand (2018-2023), New York Times 2023 Restaurant List, James Beard Award Semi-Finalist (2024), Jean Banchet Awards "Best Restaurant" Finalist (2024).

Experience with ordering, par systems, and inventory management
Ability to manage and uphold BOH systems and sanitation standards

Creative and thoughtful approach to family meal
Pasta cooking experience strongly preferred. Especially with high volume.
Passion for vegetables and seasonal produce. Including pickling, preserving, and utilizing every part of the harvest.
