Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Director of Tax to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of hands-on experience, a CPA license, and a strong background in both Sales Tax and International Tax. This is a client-facing position, so excellent communication skills are essential for managing projects and addressing questions for a diverse portfolio of international clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and nurture strong relationships with international corporate clients, guiding them through the process of setting up their U.S. subsidiaries and providing customized tax solutions based on their specific needs.
- Take a leadership role in a growing tax practice, offering strategic direction and identifying opportunities to improve client service and practice growth.
- Provide expert advice on international tax issues, including cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, and other global tax matters.
- Guide clients on sales and use tax matters, including state-level sales tax filings.
- Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
- Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring clients are always informed and compliant.
- Assist in preparing tax returns for corporations and partnerships as needed.

Qualifications:

- CPA license is required.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in tax, with a focus on Sales Tax and International Tax.
- In-depth understanding of both U.S. and international tax laws and regulations.
- Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and approachable manner.
- Proven leadership experience managing a team and successfully juggling multiple projects.
- Fluency in additional languages is a plus but not required.

Salary: $ 40,000.00 140,000.00 Per Year
