Location: Watertown, NY 13601

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Shift: 12-hour Varying shifts

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $2,160 - $2,412; (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technician to join our team on a 13-week contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in vascular and obstetric imaging and be capable of performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasounds while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in vascular and obstetric specialties.
• Evaluate and document patient conditions using medical sonography techniques.
• Review images for quality and accuracy prior to submitting for physician interpretation.
• Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with privacy and confidentiality policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Demonstrate excellent patient interaction skills while providing safe and effective imaging services.

Required Requirements:

• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography.
• Minimum of 1 year of radiologic/imaging experience.
• Specific experience and training in medical sonography, particularly vascular and obstetric imaging.
• Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment.
• High degree of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registry eligible.
• Current BCLS certification .

• Candidate must reside within 60 miles of Watertown, NY.
